Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Mercure, I found it to be a clean and efficient hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. The hotel rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, offering a nice modern touch of luxury. I appreciated the complimentary mini bar and water in the room. One standout aspect was the discounted parking rate over the weekend, making it a more affordable option for guests with cars. The room itself was spacious and the view of the Amstel was a pleasant bonus. While the hotel offers amenities like laundry and ironing facilities, I found the lack of a sitting area in the room a bit disappointing. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were nice touches, but the absence of a terrace or garden furniture was noticeable.Mercure strikes a balance between luxury and value, making it a suitable choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank.
